Getting Here

From the end of the M5, take the A38 to Plymouth, crossing the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall. Keep on the A38 towards Liskeard, however at the roundabout at Trerulefoot, take the first exit (A374) towards Looe. About a mile along this road there is a right turn signposted for Looe (A387). Follow this road for six miles, passing through Hessenford until you enter Looe. Follow the main road which bears right across the bridge and then up the hill out of Looe. Keep on this road, and eventually you will reach Polperro.

The road into Polperro is down a steep hill with the village car park on your right at the bottom. The village has restricted access but it is possible to drive down (past the car park and over the mini-roundabout). Continue down the road into Polperro, being wary of other traffic and pedestrians. In the heart of the village turn right into Big Green and along to the junction with Lansallos Street. Here, you should turn left into Lansallos Street, however the turning is tight and you may prefer to turn right up Landaviddy Lane, find somehere suitable to turn round and then come back down, so you are straight on to Lansallos Street.

You can park up temporarily by the harbour slipway, taking care not to block any other vehicles, and unload. The cottage is on the edge of the quay on the right. Once unloaded, you can drive back along Lansallos Street, and up Landaviddy Lane to Violets Farm, where there is a free dedicated parking space for your use.
